• You have glaucoma or are taking blood-thinning medications

• You have skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or keloids in the treatment area

• You are currently undergoing or have active skin cancer

• You are prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

• You have undiagnosed rashes, blisters, or irritation in the brow or lip area

• You are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments

• You have a history of seizures, fainting, or epilepsy

• You are diabetic and do not have medical clearance from your physician

• You’ve had Botox or fillers in the treatment area within the last 3 months
