WHAT IS COSMETIC TATTOOING?

Cosmetic tattooing, also known as micropigmentation, semi-permanent makeup, or permanent makeup, is a technique where pigment is carefully implanted into the upper layer of the skin, to enhance facial features.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Typically, cosmetic tattoos last between 1 to 3 years. Annual touch-ups are recommended to maintain shape and pigment saturation.

DO I NEED A TOUCH-UP?

Yes, most procedures are a two-step process. After your initial session, a touch-up is required to perfect the shape, color, and detail.
Within the first 3 weeks, pigment can fade 30–40% and may appear patchy or uneven. The touch-up session addresses these changes and completes the final look.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE?

Procedures usually take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the service. Please plan for a full 3-hour window to ensure everything is done carefully, this is an art, not something to rush.

DOES IT HURT?

A topical numbing gel is applied before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most clients report minimal pain, and some even fall asleep during brow treatments!

IS IT SAFE?

Absolutely. We use only sterilized, single-use disposable needles and tools to ensure your safety and comfort. Your safety is our top priority!

WILL I BE SWOLLEN?

• Eyebrows: Mild redness around the brows may occur, usually fading within a few hours.

• Lips & Eyeliner: Mild swelling is common and typically lasts 1–2 days.

DO I NEED TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK?

No downtime is necessary. Most clients return to normal activities right after their procedure.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

Healing varies by person. Generally, the skin flakes and peels over 7–14 days. Full healing (when pigment settles) takes about 4 weeks.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE?

Before the procedure, we map and pre-draw the shape using a pencil. You'll review and approve it before we begin. We’ll guide you based on facial symmetry and aesthetics, but the final decision is always yours.
Please note: All faces are naturally asymmetrical. Once the pre-draw is approved, we proceed with tattooing.

WHAT COLOR WILL I GET?

We match pigment to your natural brow hair color for a seamless look—unless you prefer a different shade.

I ALREADY HAVE MY EYEBROWS TATTOOED. CAN YOU FIX OR COVER IT?

Possibly. Please text clear, makeup-free photos of your current brows (no filters) to Thao: 786.384.0232 for evaluation before booking. Not all tattoos can be corrected.

DO YOU SHAVE MY NATURAL BROWS?

No. We keep as much of your natural brow hair as possible. Only a few stray hairs may be removed to create a clean, defined shape.

WHAT CAN’T I DO AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

To ensure optimal healing and pigment retention, avoid the following until fully healed:

• Swimming, sweating, or prolonged moisture on the treated area

• Sun exposure and tanning

• Picking, peeling, or scratching the tattoo

• Submerging brows in water (showering and face washing are fine with care)

NOT A CANDIDATE IF YOU’RE

• Are pregnant or nursing

• Are currently or recently on Accutane (must be off for 12+ months)

• Are undergoing chemotherapy

• Have major skin conditions (e.g., keloids, hyper/hypopigmentation)

• Have an active cold sore or fever blister (for lip procedures, unless on antiviral medication)

• Have serious eye conditions (for eyeliner procedures)

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT – PLEASE AVOID:

• Caffeine and alcohol – for 48 hours

• Blood thinners – including Vitamin E, fish oil, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin – 48 hours

• Botox – must be done at least 3 months prior

• Come with as much natural brow hair as possible
